Randy Modeen - Firehouse Raffle (Single)

Randy Modeen - Firehouse Raffle

Randy introduces himself to the world with a slow-burning single “Firehouse Raffle” about small-town corruption—or is it? Randy isn’t so sure. At the Firehouse Raffle, Daryl takes home the prizes every year but, as Randy notes, the good Lord could just be pullin’ numbers for that man. Hopefully, Randy’s Long Islands went down smoothly.

The song is notable for possibly being one of the most Pennsylvanian country songs ever produced. It includes scrapple, weekend getaways to Shawnee, and of course Firehouses. The Drop-D tuning and moody fiddle stabs really bring home the small town noir feel.

Here’s looking forward to more exciting releases from Catasauqua, PA’s native son and #1 troubadour.
